Neal Pann, Co-Campaign Manager
Neal Pann is an alumnus of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California, a licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional. In addition to practicing architecture, Neal is involved in the local community serving five years on the Livermore Historic Preservation Commission and eight years as a member of City of Livermore’s Planning Commission. He is currently serving as a board member of Livermore Downtown, Inc.

Shana Peete, JD, Co-Campaign Manager
Shortly after making her home in the Tri-Valley in 2011, Shana Peete transitioned from being a practicing trial attorney to a nonprofit leader advancing her calling to help people and be the change she wants to see in her community and the world. Her personal mission is to fearlessly use her gifts of empathy and connecting with people to inspire unity and uplift worldwide. Shana’s goal is to use her voice to shake the foundation of your heart and mind and inspire you to take regular action to be your best, most successful self.

Steve Kau, Campaign Treasurer
Steve Kau started his own CPA practice in the Tri-Valley in 1991 focusing on primarily on income taxes for individuals, businesses, trust and estates in planning, preparation and problem resolution.
His office is currently in Dublin includes 2 bookkeepers, a tax preparer, an admin person and another CPA. Steve has served as a business school and college level instructor for a bachelor and master’s degrees and has taught courses in finance, financial and managerial accounting, income tax, and auditing.
Steve has volunteered in the community serving on the Los Positas accounting/business advisory committee for 15 years, treasurer for a non-profit Native American non-profit, Indigenous Nations Child and Family Agency in Oakland/San Leandro also for 15 years. He has served as director for the American Cancer Society at age 19 and has volunteered as a Big Brother with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Honolulu for a girl as well a boy. He has also spoken to high school students about careers in accounting over his many years in the industry.

Mike Johnson, Assistant Campaign Treasurer
Before entering the world of Real Estate and finance, Mike served active duty in the Air Force for 6 years and the Department of Energy for 5 years. Mike currently works as the CFO for one of the top Real Estate firms in the Tri-Valley. He has a passion for helping his fellow veterans, serving as the Treasure for the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals from 2017-2019. Mike has also served as the Treasure for Mayor Marchand in his 2018 re-election campaign, assisting Mayor Marchand to victory.

Jim Berry, Director of Communications
Jim Berry is a California State Hayward alumni and a retired Sandia National Laboratories manager. He has strong community involvement leading Sandia’s SHARE charity drive in 2010, spearheading veteran programs for East Bay Community Services in 2013 and guiding Robot Garden’s Makerspace since 2013. Jim is currently working to establish a STEM Aviation Education Center at the Livermore Airport. His background has helped to develop training programs for Livermore.

Jennifer Teichera, Director of Events
Jennifer Teichera is a graduate of California State University, Hayward. She works as an Account Services Supervisor, is a mom of three, police volunteer and an active member in the community. Jennifer lives and works in Livermore, a place she has called home for most of her life. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, road trips and exploring new things.
